The Elite Mental Prep Course for
College Student-Athletes is an all-new program designed
and delivered by Todd M. Kays, Ph.D. It focuses on one of
the most ignored, yet important aspects of athletic success – the
mind. The seminar will teach basic principles of sport psychology.
Dr. Kays will teach student-athletes the exact mental preparation
strategies used by elite athletes with whom he works. This
course consists of four 75-minute sessions over a 4 week
time period and ensures that each student-athlete gain valuable
insight and strategies into their mental performance. The
small number of student-athletes (ONLY 6 STUDENT-ATHLETES
IN EACH COURSE) guarantees energetic interaction and discussion
as well as individual attention. It also allows student-athletes
to share how they are progressing, what is working and not
working, and how they have overcome mental obstacles and
errors.

and improvement areas through completion of the “Mental
Skills Inventory”
